He is a founder of 501(c)(3), Friends of Hackett, which is a friends group that was created to support his neighborhood's public elementary school. He has served on the board of the Philadelphia Athletics Youth Sports Association (PAYSA) since 2023 where he also served as a league commissioner from 2021 to 2024.
